Title: Tell me a story
The Lyrebird, an ancient Australian animal, is one of the world's largest songbirds and is noted for its elaborate tail feathers and excellent ability for mimicry. It is in the mimicry where we find the story. A story revealing the exposure and events that have occurred in the local environment, be it the cry of a baby, sirens during a bush fire, the voices of people, and more. If they occur enough times to be recorded by the Lyrebird, the Lyrebird will tell anyone listening. The symbolism of a Lyrebird reminds me to be conscious of what I am allowing into my psyche, as there lays the power of creation for positive and negative patterns that can play out in daily life.
