The Swift Parrot is one of many critically endangered species in Australia. There is said to be fewer than 1,000 breeding pairs remaining due to forestry, urbanisation and private land clearing, as well as the threat imposed on them by sugar gliders which has led to the Swift Parrot being on the critically endangered list.

At the time of listing this artwork for sale it is currently World Animal Day. As part of the global effort to address animal welfare and habitat issues, I will donate 25% from all profits made from the sale of this print to non-profit organisation, Bush Heritage Australia.
